About Centre for Accreditation of Health & Social Care (CAHSC)

QAI’s Centre for Accreditation of Health and Social Care (CAHSC) is set up to operate accreditation/ certification programs in health and social care sector. Primarily, it is targeted to launch those programs which do not exist in India and there is a need felt by stakeholders to start such programs.

The organization structure of CAHSC has been designed to meet the requirements of an effective and efficient accreditation system. The Centre is governed by a Board. The Board frames and approve policies and guidelines, and provide direction to QAI’s CAHSC. CEO, QAI is the Member Secretary of the Board.

CAHSC operates its accreditation process through a structured framework of competent staff and pool of empanelled Lead Assessors and Assessors covering specified expertise.

Scope (Objectives) of QAI-CAHSC

QAI becomes the institutional member of the International Society for Quality in Health Care (ISQua) (www.isqua.org)

Institutional Member of the International Society for Telemedicine and eHealth (ISfTeH) (www.isfteh.org)

Dr. B. K. Rana, CEO-QAI, is also the Board Member of ISfTeH,

QAI joins the international accreditation program of International Society for Quality in Health Care External Evaluation Association (IEEA) (www.ieea.ch). 

Following standards have achieved ISQua accreditation, making QAI the first and only accreditation body in India to get such recognition.

 

ISQuaEEA Approval

Quality and Accreditation Institute (QAI) - Centre for Accreditation of Health and Social Care approved by ISQuaEEA.

QAI Accreditation is eligible for Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) empanelment of Private Hospitals, Eye Centres, Dental Centres & Imaging Centres.
